It feels like I dread talking to him these days, only because he really never has anything positive to say. I feel like he calls and random shit spews from his mouth and sometimes he mentions something that pisses me off and we get in a huge fight. I've been accidently avoiding any long conversation with him for a while, but today I tried talking to him for as long as he was able to be on the phone. I know I still love him, it just seems like he's been doing a lot of things that are very ... out of character for him. Another thing is that his phone service was cut off a few weeks ago, and he couldn't call for a while... so I got used to having all this extra time for myself and I actually slept most nights. Today he informed me that he may be removed from civilization for some time late this year or early next year due to his "depression". It really surprised me because well... frankly, I don't think he's very depressed. It seems to me that his family has had enough of his shenanigans and taking advantage of whatever depression he DOES have to send him off somewhere paid for by his insurance. He says he doesn't expect anything from me while he's away... but when have I ever left him behind? This is all just crazy talk--I'm just really scared to lose my best friend.

In other news, I saw Twilight on Friday. Mediocre film, I felt like there was something missing. It had absolutely no continuity between the scenes, so I feel bad for those who watched it without reading the book first. Entertaining, though... my roommate and I laughed tons. :) Tomorrow I need to work on my paper... so hopefully I'll wake up at an appropriate hour.

I'll be home in Whittier from Tuesday night until Sunday morning, and I don't really have any idea what I'm gonna do during that time. I am bitter because I wasn't able to be home this past week when all the cool Twilight shit went down... especially Paramore performances. Grr. Ah well, I'm here to learn!

This week is going by so fast! I've gone to every one of my classes this week, which is incredibly surprising! I don't really have any work due until next week, which means this weekend I need to get some stuff done. I have a paper to write for Literature on Monday as well as a paper to rewrite for Biology by Tuesday. I think I'll be able to concentrate on my assignments after I watch Twilight, cause I'm pretty anxious to see if it lives up to my expectations... or just makes me laugh. So far RottenTomatoes.com is showing that critics are split fifty-fifty, but apparently it appeals more to the hardcore fans of the book, which I am not. Oh well, my roommate and I are pretty excited to buy those massive Icees they sell at the local movie theater. Haha.

On Saturday, I'm hoping to go to the bookstore and buy all the stuff my family wants from there. I also really want to buy a new sweater... I own only two right now! :[ It gets pretty chilly in the nights and it sucks to have to wear the same two over and over. On Monday, I need to do laundry so I have lots of clean clothes to pack. :)

I'm a little annoyed that my Twatlight shirt won't make in time for Friday when I go see the movie... but I need shirts anyway, so it'll get some use. :P

Recently, I've been wondering what Regina Spektor is up to... is there a new album in the plans? I remember Halloween 2007 very fondly because of her amazing concert and I would definitely love to see her again! Random thoughts... hehe.
