Disclaimer: This is going to be the cheesiest update everrr.

A couple weeks ago, I was missing home so i decided I wanted to see my family and/or go home for a few days. So it was decided that I would fly home this weekend (May 22nd-26th). However, my sister had a swim meet this weekend, so it was decided I would go earlier then expected so as to maximize my time in SoCal. Subsecuently, I was in Los Angeles last weekend from May 15-19.

I had a fun time, I realize that I miss my sister tons... and I feel like I miss out on a lot while I'm at school. So I'm on the airplane back to Sacramento Airport and I feel really emotional about everything. I was extremely sad that I had to leave and I was pretty angry. Well anyway, I checked the bus schedule to get from the airport back to school and I realized one got there at the exact time my plane landed, so I was expecting to wait another hour to catch the next one. Turns out the bus was a couple minutes late, so I got on it. It wasn't too full, but I made my way toward the back of the bus anyway. There was only one other person in the back of the bus, and he was two rows behind me.

A few minutes into the ride, he starts talking to me. At first I'm kind of scared to talk to this random guy on the bus, but honestly, I just really wanted someone to spill my guts out to. So we get to talking and he seems like a really cool dude... and within a few minutes he asked for my number. I have no idea why, but I decided to give it to him. His phone was dead, so I actually wrote it down on a piece of paper and he put it in his pocket. So we continued talking, and I found out we were both getting off at the UC Davis Memorial Union. He was transferring to a bus there in an hour and a half. So I decide to hang out with him for a while before my first class started. Again, I'm not really sure why I did this... it's a little out of my character. But anyway, an hour goes by in an instant, and soon enough I have to head to class.

So I go to class and honestly, I can't stop thinking about him. I tell my roommate about him and I can't stop talking about him all day. So the remainder of Tuesday goes by and it's late evening on Wednesday, and I don't think he's going to call. Finally around 11 PM, he called! We talked for a little while (in reality it was THREE HOURS!), and we made tenative plans to see eachother later that week. He continued calling every day, and later he started texting as well. Things were going pretty good, but a few opportunities to see eachother were missed because of poor communication. But finally, I got to see him on Sunday.

It was 5:30 AM, and I was barely heading to bed (typical), and he called just a half an hour later. I couldn't give up seeing him, so I dragged myself out of bed and heading to the shower. So an hour and 20 minutes later, his bus arrived at the MU. We wandered around for a while, not sure of what to do, and we ended up getting coffee and cigarrettes at the local AMPM. We headed to my dorm to hang out in the lounge for the two and a half hours he was supposed to stay before he had to go. After being with him and kissing him and generally being all cheesy and cute, I really didn't want to let him go. But it wasn't up to me, so together, we walked back to the bus stop. His bus didn't come, so we called up the help line and it turns out that bus didn't run on Sundays. So since he needed to do something rather important, he was visibly frustrated by this. However, he was able to work something out and he stayed with me for another couple of hours. :)

So finally, the time for him to really go home came. He had a train ticket to go to Stockton where his aunt lives, so he had to leave at around 1 PM. Despite the lack of sleep, and the fact that he couldn't stay for longer, yesterday was probably the best day I've ever had in Davis. And I'm sure they'll only get better. :)

Honestly, there were so many coincidences on how I came to meet him. I was supposed to be in Los Angeles this weekend, not last weekend, and I was supposed to come home on Monday, not Tuesday. If the bus was on time, I wouldn't have stepped onto the same bus as him. If his license hadn't been temporarily suspended (Speeding on a provisional license), he would have never even been on the bus to begin with, much less on the wrong bus! (He was supposed to be on the 42A, not he 42B) So hopefully, this is a sign from some greater force that I belong here... hopefully.
